I bring together three things that rarely sit in one person: 16+ years of teaching computer science; real experience in public leadership; and a background in computer science, social anthropology and inclusion.

As a councillor, former Mayor of Folkestone and Chair of Folkestone and Hythe District Council, I understand that meaningful change starts with people, not just policy.

As a TechFirst Education Advisor with STEM Learning, I connect schools with industry. I can talk to developers, leaders and young people in their own language.
